Rev. Fr. Daniel Al-Kass
Born in Baghdad, 1994.

Education:

• 2019–2022: Diploma in Theology, St. Ignatius Syriac Orthodox Seminary, Södertälje, Sweden.
• 2020–2022: VVS Engineering, Hermods (YHS).
• 2020–Present: Currently pursuing academic theological studies at Enskilda Högskola University (EHS), Stockholm, Sweden.

Leadership and Service:

Fr. Daniel has extensive experience in youth ministry and organizational leadership. He has served as a scout leader at SOFS Syriac Orthodox Scout Organization and held key leadership and administrative roles within the Syriac Orthodox Youth Organization (SOKU). His dedication and dynamic leadership have significantly contributed to the spiritual and organizational growth of the youth community.

• Reader Deacon (2005): Ordained by His Eminence Mor Severios Hawa, Metropolitan of Baghdad and Basrah – Iraq.
• Subdeacon (2010): By H.E. Mor Severios Hawa.
• Full Deacon (2023): Ordained by H.E. Mor Augeen Al-Kass, Patriarchal Secretary, at St. Matthew the Hermit Church – Michigan, USA.
• Priest (2023-10-20): Ordained by H.E. Mor Dionysius Jean Kawak Archbishop, patriarch vicar for archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox church for the Eastern Untied States
